If we were to carry shrubbery (hydrangea, roses, gardenia, tea olive, weigelia, etc) what varieties would you be most interested in? Also what about edible trees/ bushes? Fruit trees, blueberries, raspberries etc....
Do you own one of these beauties? Here’s a way to tell them apart.
It’s the last Market of the year! It’s a wonderful market with amazing vendors! Y’all come see us tomorrow morning in Rome!
We are enjoying our last bit of summer here at Georgia Bluebird Greenhouses. The last few days has brought such nice cool weather (-and a bunch of rain) We have been busy bees planning for our upcoming spring season! Is there anything you wish to see us grow for you?
PRUNING TOMATO PLANTS "Pruning indeterminate plants will not increase overall tomato production but will give you larger fruit earlier in the season. Regularly look for and prune suckers on the lower third of the stem as they appear on the plant A sucker is a nonflowering, leafy shoot that grows in the joint between branches and the main stem of the plant. In short-season locations, pruning will allow the plant to focus energy on fruit production. If left on the plant, sucker...s unnecessarily divert water and energy that would otherwise be used for fruit development." Find these plants when you shop Georgia Bluebird Greenhouses at the Between the Rivers Farmers’ Market in Rome, GA every Saturday! Rely on Classic Native Plants Black Eyed Susan (Rudibekia) and Cone Flowers (Echinacea)... If you want a colorful garden but don't have a lot of time to fuss over it, why not select easy-care classics like coneflower and black-eyed Susan that are native across much of North America. Both of these heat- and drought-resistant plants bloom from summer to fall with minimum care. Plus, this perennial combination makes beautiful bouquets you can enjoy all summer.
We are only open 1 more day this season! TOMORROW is our last day open for 2020! We will be here 9am-6pm! We hope to see you then!
