7th grade students finally delivered the Buckets of Love to the residents of Habersham Homes. The residents were so happy to see their guests and receive their peppers and tomatoes. They told the students that they really missed seeing them last year. Our GCEC students loved the experience of giving to others and creating the smiles!... With our juniors mainly taking dual-enrollment classes, we often do not see them as much as we would like. However, some of our juniors are currently taking Chemistry as their final high school course. It has been wonderful to see them daily and hear about their lives and their courses at CGTC, GMC, and GCSU. At GCEC, communication takes many forms! Our AP Language students are doing a stellar job adapting to our virtual environment. This past week, they were able to show what they know about our class novel, Just Mercy, and its accompanying social justice topics through hand signals, Zoom chats, oral discussions, and a silent conversation that spoke volumes!
