2008 Malibu 23 LSV that we sadly forgot to take before pictures of that we just finished transforming into a new boat. We removed the torn up Wakesetter pictures off both sides to clean it up, wet sanded the whole boat because the red was pink and the black had turned grey from all of the oxidation. We wet sanded the entire boat to remove the oxidation and then completed a full buff/polish/wax to bring this Malibu back to life. The interior was in just as bad of shape, we sha...mpooed all of the carpets and then cleaned/conditioned the seats to try and get the owner a couple more years out of the original interior before it needs to be redone. One of our long time customers needed his boat pulled out on the trailer and detailed so he could get it ready to sell! So we went and picked it up from Hideaway Bay Marina and brought it back to the shop to get it cleaned up. The bottom paint we did 3 years ago needed to be pressure washed and cleaned off, the gelcoat needed a good buff/polish/wax and the interior needed a full detail. We also hit the drive with a wire wheel as well as the prop and painted both to protect them and get both looking better. 1994 Ford F-250 we had the pleasure of restoring this week!! Customer contacted us and stated that her husband is very fond of his truck and she wanted to surprise him with a detail. The inside was not any concern, all of the focus was on bringing this 27 year old paint back to life. So we washed and decontaminated the paint, then we pulled out the buffer an started on the paint correction. We performed a 2 step correction, first step with a heavy cut correcting compound and ...the second step with a good finishing polish to really bring the shine back out of that black paint! 2018 Harris Crowne that had sat down at the owner’s dock all winter uncovered and taken a beating from Mother Nature! Owner did not have their own trailer so luckily our good friend Robert Slade with Slade Marine let us rent one from him so we could pull the boat out of the water and get it back to the shop for a Full Detail! First thing we noticed was the wooden table in the front was broken and in rough shape so we had another friend in the industry Teak Mafia come out and ...fix the table and restore it! Now to start with the detailing, We completed an acid wash to get the toons looking like new again. Once the boat was thoroughly washed and decontaminated, we buffed and polished all of the fiberglass including the tower inside/out to prepare it for ceramic coating. This customer’s pontoon sits on the outside of the dock so it is exposed to the weather an Sun 24/7 and this is a very high dollar pontoon so we wanted nothing but the best when it comes to protection for it so we laid down one coat of Gtechniq Marine Base and two coats of Gtechniq Marine Top for a total of 3 years of protection. With this boat being black, the sun puts a beating on it so we wanted to make sure this Harris Crowne is protected from fading and oxidation. After the ceramic coating was done, we completed a full interior detail and used the steam cleaner to safely remove all of the mildew that had gotten down into the seats an it worked perfectly!! Sea Ray 220 Bow Rider we picked up for one of our busy customers. We understand that sometimes our customers are too busy with work and family life to deal with the hassle and stress of getting their boat ready for the upcoming season. 21ft Celebrity Runabout was in really bad shape when it arrived at the shop. The boat had been sitting out in the woods uncovered for over a year so it had ALOT of mold and mildew built up!
