Our Quality Improvement Vice President Kathleen Smith shared, Today is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day which seeks to increase awareness regarding the importance of children’s mental health and demonstrate that positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development. The work that our Mentor foster parents do in their homes every day is aiding in the healing of the trauma that children have been exposed to. Thank you for all you do to enhance the lives of the children and youth we are privileged to serve."

Throughout the pandemic, our nurses have supported the individuals we serve with dedication and grace. We are so thankful to those who have dedicated themselves to nursing and wish every nurse a safe and happy #NationalNursesWeek!

Strengthening family connections is a key component of our Family Vistas Therapeutic Foster Care model. When possible, our Mentor foster parents and our clinical team engage a child’s birth family in the parenting process.
