I had to stop and take some photos. You ever see stuff that leaves you scratching your head? In this series of photos you see a story being told. First a brand spanking new bridge. But knowing what I know I ask myself why? Why did this county have to tear out a perfectly good culvert or bridge to replace it at just how much cost? Well just look at the photos for "the rest of the story". A lovely beaver dam with fresh beaver tracks in the mud. I can guarantee you hiring a professional like myself is far cheaper than bridge/culvert replacement.

Recent results on a beaver management job in Palmetto. This is a long term control program. Originally about ten acres were under water with the local water authority ripping out the dam annually just to have the beavers build it back. Finally the landowner got smart and hired Georgia Wildlife Services to remove the dam builders. First year we removed eight beaver and the dams washed away I the spring rains returning the water back to its original level in the creek. Currently we are performing maintenance service removing beaver as needed as new ones wander in from off site. Georgia Wildlife Services not only solves out of control beaver trouble but we can also provide the needed service to prevent beaver from getting out of control again.
