Watch Chris Hill shortening a wheelbase on a truck that is going to get fire fighting equipment installed at Tuscaloosa Fire Equipment in Alabama. We had the truck they wanted but the wheelbase was wrong so we shortened it almost 48". Randy Roberts also shortened the fuel tank almost a foot so it would be flush with the back of the cab and not interfere with the new equipment being installed. We are also in the process of swapping several bodies from old trucks to new trucks. Let GTC save you time and money with body swaps and truck modifications. On Wednesday, Sean Rollins of RCI Collision in Warner Robins GA, took delivery of his new 2020 Hino 268A with a 14 foot OX Dump body. The truck is equipped with a strong 260HP engine, 2500RDS Allison transmission, differential locks, power windows and door locks, and remote control heated mirrors. It is also equipped with a pintle hitch, receiver hitch and electric trailer brakes. A contractors dream truck. Roy Kelley of The RG Kelley Co. in Lawrenceville Georgia just took delivery of a new 2020 Hino 195DC. He worked with Gene Burnet of Gilbert Truck Center and Denise Hilsman of Conyers Truck Bodies to design and build the chipper dump body. It has a tool box behind the cab, a custom trailer hitch, remote dump controller, and the top comes off so it can be loaded and used as a dump truck only.
