Archie Alexander had many notable achievements during his lifetime. From engineering to politics, Alexander was an influential contributor to American infrastructure and society during the first half of the twentieth century. His engineering company was responsible for the construction of the Whitehurst Freeway and the development of a bridge and seawall in Washington DC's Tidal Basin.
