Global Lighting & Productions gets ready for class with Dan Cornwall

On August 22, 2015 GLP teams up with well-known Gaffer Dan Cornwall (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0180473/) to reveal to the members of the "Atlanta Film Club" at Pinewood Atlanta Studios how he lit the interior of cars in the movie "Need for Speed." GLP provided AAdyn Tech LED lights on the upcoming film "The Founder". Here is some information on the film: While most origin stories are reserved for superhero movies, the history behind fast food restaurant McDonald's will be getting its own big screen retelling in The Founder. John Lee Hancock, best known for his hit dramas Saving Mr. Banks and The Blind Side, will direct this tale of McDonald's rise as a fast food empire. Jeremy Renner and Don Handfield are producing.... The Founder will tell the true story of Ray Kroc, who was a salesman from Illinois. He met Mac and Dick McDonald, who were running their own burger operation in 1950s Southern California, and was impressed by their speedy system of making and delivering food. Kroc saw franchise potential in the restaurant, and pulled the company from the brothers to create a billion-dollar business. The script, written by Robert D. Siegel (Big Fan), is being compared to The Social Network and There Will Be Blood. The film doesn't have a set start date, and no casting has been done at this time. The site of the original McDonald's in San Bernardino is still in existence, and is now a museum. It's not know if the film will use the location for shooting. The Founder comes to theaters in 2016.
