Appreciate your pastoral leaders who gave you the Word of God. Take a good look at the way they live, and let their faithfulness instruct you, as well as their truthfulness. In Genesis Chapter 19, Two Angels of the LORD took Lot, his wife and family out of Sodom and Gomorrah instructing them to run (to the mountains) for their lives, don’t look back, don’t stay in the plain and escape to the mountain. I encourage us all to know that while moving forward in the LORD, our lives depend on following the LORD; He has made a way of escape for us. Don’t look back at the what if’s and could, would and should haves. Don’t stay in the place of depressi...on, oppression, and self-pity. Let us come up in our thinking and lean not on our own understanding, but let us acknowledge HIM in all of our ways. We are not going back! We are moving forward in Christ and in every aspect of our lives! Jesus tells us no man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
