Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! To celebrate, Goddard has teamed up with some special guests to help express just how much we admire and cherish our teachers. Thank you for all that you do and for choosing our School to call home!
Just like adapting to at-home learning, returning to school will be a transition for both you and your child. From getting enough sleep to switching to new routines, childcare experts in this video share ways for your family to take an active role in helping your little one get comfortable with the classroom again. We are always here to help! To find out more about our summer learning program or how we can help you and your child make a smooth transition from home to school or anywhere in between call us at (770) 943-0655.

We are SO excited that our students have been able to take all that they have learned about life cycles and plant a variety of seeds in our Goddard Garden. We are looking forward to seeing what the fruits of their labors over the summer months.
During the month of April students in all programs learned about different life cycles. Students learned about how caterpillars grow into butterflies, seeds grow into flowers, and demonstrated their new knowledge through the arts, hands-on-learning and putting it into real-life practice.
In honor of Black History Month, we've compiled this list of 15 books sourced from our Educational Advisory Board as well as Goddard families who also sent us book ideas that they feel support the understanding of inclusion and empathy. These books can help you launch important conversations with your children: https://blogs.goddardschool.com//childrens-books-about-in/
