Our Pre-K students used can stilts to practice walking like a giraffe. The trick for effective stilt walking is balance and coordination via holding handles and getting your feet on the platforms. This activity helped students learning about balancing their bodies. #Goddarddacula #learningisfun

Who knew you could learn science with a pack of Skittles and a little warm water! Kids love the mystery of the Skittle Experiment. Our Preschool class set out to solve the mystery, why don’t the skittles colors mix. This is a great opportunity to learn about predictions for kids and developing a hypothesis. It offers an engaging, purposeful activity for children to practice making predictions, and for developing their observation and science record keeping skills. #goddarddacula #learningisfun
