We are saddened to say that Col. David "Hank" Rogers, Commander of our fellow Mississippi Wing, has passed away. Our hearts go out to his family and the members of Mississippi Wing. Blue skies, Col. Rogers.

Gen. Chuck Yeager, an icon in the history of aviation, passed away today. Many CAP members know him not only as the man who broke the sound barrier, but also as the name behind the Gen. Chuck Yeager Aerospace Education Award. We are thankful for his service, and our thoughts go out to his family. #yeager #therightstuff #speedofsound

Kick off your week with this amazing CAP alumna spotlight ! Meet Alaska Air National Guard Staff Sgt. and recently crowned Miss Alaska Collegiate 2021, Elizabeth McJannet-Bratton. McJannet-Bratton got her start with Civil Air Patrol at age 16 and credits a life-changing encampment experience with cementing her interest in aircraft and the military.
