This past April 1st, we officially introduced ourselves to a group of consultants and general contractors we hope to be working with in North Carolina. Goode Van Slyke Architecture (GVSA) is excited to announce our deep and extended involvement in The Bailey working with our good friend and entrepreneur/developer, Brandon Wheeless of Alux Properties. This is a unique, first-of-its-kind, mixed-use development with a focus on wellness. The mixture of uses includes a luxury, boutique hotel with conference space, comprehensive spa-med facilities, a medical office building and luxury condominiums as well as retail space and high-...end restaurants. The Bailey harkens to the history of Alpharetta by embracing the Bailey family while forwarding the goals of Alpharetta by providing technological advances that further Alpharetta’s stance as the Technology City of the South. The Bailey opens up to the AlphaLoop to interact with the community and be a good neighbor. Ground breaking is set to commence before the end of this year. See more

Goode Van Slyke Designs Riverline Townhomes for Brock Built Brock Built Homes has chosen Goode Van Slyke as the designer of its planned new Riverline Townhomes. The 52-unit development is planned for Atlanta’s Riverside neighborhood on the westside inside I-285 near the Chattahoochee River and Proctor Creek. Permitting for the project, previously known as West Hollywood Townhomes, is now underway. The Michaels Organization has chosen Goode Van Slyke Architecture to design the renovation of a 129-unit assisted living community in Southwest Atlanta. The Michaels Organization is one of the largest affordable housing owners and developers in the country. The community will serve people who are 55 years old and older, or who are disabled. As What Now Atlanta reports, the redevelopment would take 18 months with completion scheduled in 2023. The project depends upon a number of factors that are now in the approval process. Welcome to one of GVSA's newest team members, Dominique Baker. Dominique received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dominique’s experience includes work on various Hotel, High-rise Multi-Family, Senior Living and Officeprojects. Dominique’s free time usually includes spending time with his family and his camera(s) while running behind his youngest of two daughters with his cameras.
