May is National Foster Care Month. I’ve decided to partner with an organization whose cause is near to my heart. Keep reading to hear more about @atlanta_angels and stay tuned for ways you can be involved! Atlanta Angels is a chapter of @nationalangels whose is to walk alongside children in the foster care system, as well as their caregivers, by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. They are building ... around foster and kinship families who care for children who have been through trauma, abuse, and neglect to show them they are not alone. They are volunteers to make a consistent difference that is both meaningful and powerful in a child’s life. When foster families are matched with committed volunteers who show up monthly, parents feel supported and children gain a greater sense of belonging and self-confidence. They want to give the gift of so every child can find healing and reach their fullest potential. Their is to create sustainable change in the foster care system and to see every child in the foster care system supported by a Love Box group and every youth supported by a Dare to Dream mentor. And their is to see every single child in foster care in the United States supported and empowered to succeed. #atlantaangels #nationalfostercaremonth
