Gordon County/ NW Georgia 4-H Livestock Judging 27.05.2021

Good morning. Please share this page with your former teammates. One project we need help on is a livestock judging video project. Tim Street, Gordon 4-H Program Assistant and Livestock Judging Coach, has been asking for short 3 minute videos of past judges taking about how life skills learned in livestock judging help them in their adult life. Videos can be done on your phone and sent in. I can tell you where to send the video if you let me know. Took me 10-15 minutes tops to gather my thoughts and do my video. Need participants.

This is a photo from my first livestock judging team in Bartow County. This was from the area contest held in Athens, Georgia. This photo was taken outside the old feedlot off Whitehall Road. The contest was held there. This may have been spring or early June 1995.

Hope everyone is having a great day, if you have any past photos of your teams from contests, post them on the page with who is in the photo and from what contest.

This new Facebook page is for judging alumni of 4-H programs in NW Georgia along with coaches, family and supporters. It is a way for past, present and current 4-H judging team members to share information, photos and memories. REMEMBER, THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY PAGE. Also, let her folks know this page is up. We may use this page to obtain info on life skills learned from your experience and also ways you can help current livestock judging programs in your county. Thanks.- Greg Bowman
