Beginning this Thursday, May 6, anything left in the greenhouse is half price with the exception of the succulents. The greenhouse will be open on Thursday, 3-4 pm. Most plants are just$1. Please bring your own boxes!!!

The annual FFA banquet is Monday night at 6:00. All FFA members and parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Award winners and new officers will receive special invitations this week. Please RSVP to Mrs. Forrester by Friday if you are planning on coming.

Hey! Our community service project is tomorrow at the Older Adult Center next to the tennis courts. Please join us as we redo and replant their raised beds.

Our trip to Macon this morning was to recognize Cooper’s top 4 placing in Jr Prepared Public Speakkng. Also want to recognize Carly Deck for earning her State FFA Degree.

The GLHS greenhouse will not be open this Saturday. We have a FFA member that has placed in the top four in the state for public speaking and will be making a trip to Macon for him to be recognized. The greenhouse will be open next Monday and Tuesday from 3-4:30. We still have lots of pretty bloomers!!

If you are a senior FFA member, you are eligible for the Reagan Matthews Memorial Agricultural Scholarship!

If you are coming to our plant sale, please bring boxes to take plants home in!!

We will have DIY flower arrangements after school on Feb. 10. Cost is $5 per arrangement and must be pre-paid by Wed., Jan.27. See Mrs Forrester for details.

FFA is sponsoring DIY Valentine flower arrangements on Wednesday, Feb. 10. For just $5, you can make a flower arrangement for someone special for Valentines. You must pre-order and pay for your flowers by next Wednesday, January 27. See Mrs. Forrester for details.

I was telling the students today that there were a couple of tree frogs that live in the greenhouse and to be on the lookout for them. I looked down and almost missed him/her.

Would anybody be interested in professional present wrapping for Christmas? I'm offering such service for this Holiday season and this service can be customized! PM me if you are interested!

Our officer team sorted and boxed over 650 cans this afternoon! We have food available to local organizations that could help distribute it! Many students and classes at GLHS donated to our annual food drive!

Good news! All pecans orders are able to be filled today and tomorrow with the exception of pralines. Those will be in after Thanksgiving. Thanks for supporting GLHS FFA!
