Fly a Kite Day! We had some great wind today and beautiful sunshine earlier this afternoon.

It’s definitely a Good Friday!! Celebrating Easter a few days early. A small but fun Easter egg. The patients received an Easter card from New Town Baptist Church along with their special treats; Vanilla and Oreo dirt puddding with chick peep, and a carrot stuffed with cheese balls. Gordon Healthcare would like to give big thank you Patsy, Gerald, and Donnie for providing such a wonderful lunch for the whole center. We had the pleasure of taking care of their beautiful loving mother Fannie Bell Reece.

This afternoon we had a friendly Easter Bunny come to the facility. The patients really enjoyed the window visits today. Thank you Homespun Hospice for coming out today.

Since the charcuterie cup was such a hit the last time. We decided to go a little bigger with with a charcuterie box. Delicious!

At this time, the current Georgia Shelter in Place prevents us from moving forward with the new CMS visitation guidance. The declining cases are a welcome sign, and we hope they point to brighter days ahead. We are all tired of COVID-19, but the pandemic is not over yet. We can slow its spread. Wear a mask, stay at least 6 feet from others, avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces, wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds, and get vaccinated when it’s available to you. Christmas hunting continues

Christmas hunting today for the patients. Nerf guns were locked and loaded.

Guess who came for a visit today. Santa Kenneth really brightened up the day for our patients. Thank you so much for spreading even more Christmas cheer. They were very excited to see you.
