The Goshen Valley Boys Ranch Summer Program is looking for individuals to work directly with our boys during summer academy from June 3rd July 30th. This is an amazing opportunity to engage with youth at the ranch and make an impact in their lives. Individuals will work 20-30 hours each week facilitating recreational activities and assisting with off-campus trips, all while generally mentoring our boys. Staff generally work 7 hours a day, 4 days each week. We are looking... to fill 3 positions. Candidates must be able to pass background checks, a drug screen and be insurable by Goshen Valley Foundation’s auto insurance carrier (5 year driving record). Candidates need to be available to start by May 31st to be able to complete training by June 2nd.

Meet Cola, the newest member of the Ranch Family! Dogs are a big part of life at the Ranch. Several of our houses have dogs, and they play a unique role in the development of our youth. These pups turn into unofficial emotional support dogs, and they provide great opportunities for lessons on responsibility and caring for others. Cola and the other dogs at Goshen are making a significant emotional impact on our youth. Good boy, Cola!

Personal Finance is a crucial topic for our Goshen New Beginnings youth who are transitioning into independence. They were inspired, asked great questions, and some of them are working to set up their first long-term investments this week!

Primary Responsibilities: Provide assistance to the administration staff in maintaining files. Work under the direction of managerial staff to complete assignments. Organization of personnel and HR-related paperwork. Data entry to various software platforms and the upkeep of electronic files. When we began looking for a new opportunity to work with children in need (whether it be a need for mentorship, education, foster care, or otherwise), we found that houseparenting required people with a passion for all of the above. Now that all our children are teens and older, it seemed like the right time. We decided to do respite care as it just seems to work best with our home life and schedules.
