In case you were unaware, significant changes to the FAFSA process and calculation were included in the recent relief bill that take effect Jan 1, 2022. Like many times in life, well intended changes can create unintended consequences... One of the most profound changes was the elimination of consideration for the number of students for a family simultaneously in college.
