Grace Community Church, David Wiggins, Pastor

Our pastor, David Wiggins, has recently learned that his two daughters, Suzanne and Kristen, were shot by their step-father who then turned the gun on himself and died. The girls have survived and have been in surgery most of the night. Right now Suzanne and Kristen are in stable condition - one in Macon and one in Tifton hospitals. David's sweet grandson, Luke, is unhurt physically, is with a friend. David left last evening for Macon and Tifton to be near his daughters. We are praying for his safe travels as well as David's father who is with him. Their mother, Ginger, was also shot and killed in this tragedy. We ask for your prayers for the entire Wiggins family. Our church will be praying this morning for our beloved pastor's family as well as David.

After our Christmas Eve service we will be gathering at Ms. Phyllis Seasly Butts' home right across the street from the church for a Christmas party. There will be shredded chicken sandwiches, potato salad, chips and dip, cake, holiday punch and more. If anyone would like to add to the menu feel free to do so!!! Come and let us gather together! Christmas Eve there will be a service with lots of inspiring Christmas carols and Christmas songs. Pastor David will be reading about the Blessed Birth of our Savior and telling the Christmas story.
