Church Service Opportunities (Previously "Church Work Day") Instead of trying to Coordinate just a Particular Day, PLEASE consider looking at the List below and letting Bob Felts know which item(s) you would like to come in @ your own convenience and take care of! This is NOT a long-term Commitment, but rather a One-Off, for the short term! ... iFor any of these, please send an email to [email protected] Lawn Care > Spraying of weeds in parking lot and side walk > Trim bushes > Pick up leaves in parking lot > Trim tree branches, especially those that overhang areas to be mowed. Pest Control > Treat for chiggers, especially around front door. Dumpster >Remove trash inside dumpster area. Someone dumped what looks like a restaurant or office decoration next to the dumpster. It's large and heavy. May require tools (chain saw?) to break apart so that it can be placed into dumpster. > There is a tent and other debris behind the dumpster. Clean-up > Pick up trash on grounds. > Wash windows inside and out. Note: this requires the right supplies (cleaner, squeegee, ... otherwise the result ends up streaky) Miscellaneous > Fix Stop signs Paint >Paint conference room. 2nd coat on walls. Paint trim. Note: Ron did the "cut out" work previously, so that the walls just need to be rolled. Need to buy more paint.

David: A Man after God’s own Heart. 5/9/2021 1 Samuel 16:1,6-13 Sunday’s sermon is about the grace of God in the life of King David. He was known as a man with a heart for God. It is remarkable how closely our lives tend to parallel that of David. We will see this in the choosing of David by God, his empowerment for service, as well as David’s brokenness, repentance and restoration. Remembering God’s gracious dealing with David should motivate us to be obedient men and women, after God’s own heart.

Easter, 4/4/2021 We consider Paul's words on the Resurrection from 1 Corinthians 15:1-11; 19-22 BELIEVE Everyone believes in SomeTHING, and if you are fortunate, you may also believe in SomeONE! What we believe in directs our every thought and every move we make for that which we believe in MOST provides the direction for ALL of Life. Come Journey with us as we look into the Event that Changed ALL of Human History and really does have the power to change even us!

March 28, Scott looked at Jonah 1:7-10, where the Desperate Sailors cast lots in order to find the guilty person on board with them. In God's Sovereignty, that "superstitious" act pointed the finger at Jonah. Although Jonah desired to simply be left alone and remain in isolation, as he continued his journey away from the LORD, Jonah was cast back into the center of attention. As followers of Christ, we are recipients of God's Un-Relenting Grace; He will not allow us to run ...from Him forever. Instead, our Heavenly Father will do whatever is necessary to re-captivate our hearts and bring us back to Him, in Repentance, Faith, and Obedience. Thankfully, the story does not end with Jonah's Catch-22 of Duplicity. We have One who fully paid the price and accomplised everything Jonah and we cannot do. Run to Jesus in repentance and Re-learn what it truly means to REST in His Grace!
