The beautiful new addition to Bay Creek Elementary is complete, and is now home to administrative offices and classrooms. As final touches take place on site, we are continuing the progress on the cafeteria and kitchen renovation as well as the next phase of classrooms. It’s going to be a busy summer here as we wrap up this project, and we look forward to sharing the end result! Grahl Construction proudly partnered with Make-A-Wish Georgia to make Carson’s Wish come true! We fully reconfigured the family’s bathroom to make it accessible for Carson and his family’s needs. They are thrilled with how it turned out, and we loved celebrating the end of the project virtually this morning. Duties of the Office Manager include working closely with our leadership team by handling clerical duties, managing daily office needs, and assisting with general administrative activities. Grahl Construction is wrapping up Phase II at Apalachee High School in Barrow County.

We are wrapping up Phase II at Apalachee High School in Barrow County. It’s been another full summer here, and we are proud of our team’s hard work! The school underwent a massive HVAC upgrade, including 73 new water-source heat pumps, 5 new energy recovery units, and 9 new rooftop units. An all new controls system was installed, as well as new ceiling systems, new flooring, new audio-visual, fire alarm, data lines, and cable trays. #grahlconstruction #commercialcontractor

Grahl Construction wrapped up Phase II at Westside Middle School in Barrow County. This summer the school received a new gym floor and bleachers as well as fresh paint and new tile throughout. See the last two photos for the before and after from Phase I to Phase II!

Grahl Construction has taken on a 7-phase project here at Bay Creek Elementary, and our incredible team was able to complete 2 phases of the interior renovation in the time we were allotted for just 1 phase. Eight classrooms and the media center received all new interior finishes and new HVAC, and we re-roofed 51,000 square feet. Brand new playgrounds were installed in the interior courtyards as well. We are extremely proud of our team’s hard work this summer! #grahlconstruction #commercialconstruction

Grahl Construction is partnering with Armentrout, Matheny & Thurmond this summer to bring a Manufacturing & Welding Lab to the Athens Community Career Academy. We will be adding an exterior fabrication area with access from roll-up doors. We can't wait to see the students learn new skills and enjoy this space.

Grahl Construction is proud to have been the general contractor for Chuck's Fish Athens, which was a recipient of the 51st Annual Historic Preservation Award for Outstanding Adaptive Reuse, presented by the Historic Athens Preservation Society.
