The Grand Theatre is temporarily closed. Due to the recent high number of cases in our community we have decided it is best to suspend the movie schedule this weekend through Thursday. We will evaluate the situation again for next weekend this coming Monday when we have to finalize contracts for licensing the movies. We will post updates on the Grand Theatre Facebook page. Be safe! Did you know.. The Orpheum Theatre used to have a Barton organ. Originally installed in 1926, the organ was played for silent films and as a part of traveling... shows. Unlike a majority of lost Orpheum artifacts.. we know exactly where it is today. This Barton organ, now named Big Bart, resides and continues to play at the The Grand Theatre in Fitzgerald, Georgia!
