The basketball floors are being repaired, so no activity is allowed in the gym. They expect to be complete by March 19th.
The GPRC is open. Additionally, please welcome new facility manager, Jasmine Carter. Prime Time will resume normal programming tomorrow morning.

Youth basketball registration is open, and the season starts in January. $75.00 per child. Open to ages 5 and up. Please call the Grant Park directly with questions. Normally, registration is available through IParcs https://apm.activecommunities.com/atlantadprca/Home
The Grant Park Recreation Center is occupied during the week with the Summer Camp Best Friends. The public may access the facility at 6:00 pm to use the computer room (free), or the gym (fee). For those playing outdoors, the restrooms are available at 6:00 pm until the rec center closes. The public may not enter, nor to use the restrooms, before 6:00 pm. There is no open basketball until early August. There are two aerobic classes on Saturdays (fees); 11:00 am and 12:00 pm classes. Call the recreation center for information or questions.
The Grant Park Recreation Center is still closed. Repairs to electrical were scheduled last week, and the manager is waiting for the green light to open.

Tomorrow morning is low-impact, functional fitness class, Age in Shape. The recreation center opens at 9:15, and the class starts at 9:30. People 55 and older may participate for free. Drop-in fee for under 55 yrs. old is $5.00. Functional fitness activates every muscle group, balance training, low-exertion aerobic conditioning, and strength exercises with resistant bands. Please bring a mat or towel for some floor exercises. We welcome you! Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays. No classes May 2nd - May 14th
