If your dog vomits or regurgitates it can mean several things. When in doubt, always phone your veterinarian so that we may provide the next course of action. #PetMD Provided this photo to help decipher what may be occurring. *Never wait to seek medical assistance for your pet.

*Don’t forget your fur baby’s monthly preventatives! This time of year mosquitoes (which can cause heart worms in your dog or cat), fleas (which can cause anemia, tapeworms, and more), and ticks (which can cause Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and more) are busy at work looking for their next meal! Don’t let it be your pet! **We carry Tri-Heart, Frontline, and Bravecto. Just call and we will come to your vehicle. *We also carry various (1, 3, & 6) month supplies/sizes.

#HappyWorldVeterinaryDay Greenbriar Family! Throughout this pandemic and beyond, Dr. Bryant and our team work endlessly to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of the little (Shih Tzus, Yorkshire Terriers, Miniature Schnauzers, cats of all varieties, Chihuahuas etc.), and sometimes not so little (Pit Bulls, Presa Canarios, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Rottweilers, etc.) that make all of our lives so much happier! Dr. Bryant, Phyllis, Stuart, Larry, Lauren, Sandra-we apprecia...te you for helping keep Metro Atlanta’s pets healthy! When you come to us, you and your pets are treated like family, because that is what we are. Providing curbside services, reducing hours, social distancing, washing our hands (surfaces, etc.) even more than we used to, enduring PPE, a pandemic, sick fur babies-oh my, it can be tough, but the veterinary profession as a whole is filled with true rockstars! We humbly thank our clients for riding this wave with us. The best part of our job is that we get to hug and take exceptional care of our fur babies every day because they truly mean the world to you, and to us! The personalities of our patients-some protective, some nervous (we take extra time with these babies to reassure them that we are here to help them because an animal just knows that new people are around and they need to be reassured), some pets are playful, some just want to be cuddled for a bit-we do it all. Thank you for being patient and trusting us for all of these decades (4 decades and counting). May we all continue to stay safe and long-term clients and new clients alike, we look forward to continuing along this journey with you and all of our adorable fur babies too! #PetsMakeTheWorldAHappierPlace #DrLindaBryant ##DrBryant #GreenbriarAnimalHospital #Pets #Dogs #Cats #Veterinarians #worldveterinaryday See more

Dogs have become even more special this past year as we have had even more time to bond with our furry playmates. Just the thought brings a smile to our faces. That noted, have you ever wondered what breed might represent our great State of Georgia? This article covers a few. Several states have a particular breed that represents them. Some might not surprise you, yet there are some you may not have heard of. Click the link and tell us what you think.

A good friend sent this to us this morning. Can you guess what this is? We will give you a hint, they latch on to dogs and people and can live for many weeks without food! During winter, summer, spring, fall they wait on trees, in grass, and wherever people and animals might be and they latch on when you walk by them! ***We carry flea and tick prevention and advise our pet owners and friends to use it year-round to keep their pets and themselves safe! ***We truly miss seein...g your faces inside of the hospital, but for now and for the continued safety of our staff and our clients, we will continue servicing everyone curbside. ~Stay safe Greenbriar Family~ #vets #ticks #pets #veterinarians #DrLindaBryant #GreenbriarAnimalHospital Source of photo: Columbia Animal hospital

As we ponder the ways in which our veterans keep our nation safe, we take time today to thank them for their dedication, their bravery, and their sacrifices. #VeteransDay

Do you let your dog kiss you? Many of us do and yes it can be germy especially if your pet has worms, or certain zoonotic diseases. Our best advice: Be sure your pet's health is optimal (*have adult pets checked at least yearly for intestinal worms and keep their vaccinations up-to-date) and try to let them kiss your hand, which you wash shortly thereafter. Lastly, we show them love and they show us love and there is no better time to give and receive love than now. Stay safe Greenbriar Family. https://pets.webmd.com//do-you-and-should-you-kiss-your-do

Ending #NationalVeterinaryTechniciansWeek we want to be certain that everyone knows Legacy (*and her very adorable human-like dog Forrest who loves treats)! We say "Caring People Care for Pets," and Legacy embodies this saying completely. Legacy has a heart for pets and carefully works with even the most fractious pets getting them to trust her and smile. She is our very own pet whisperer! Everyone knows and loves Larry and many of our clients have gotten to know and love Legacy as well. Your pets are in excellent hands with Larry and Legacy on Dr. Bryant's team. The way they care for, know, learn, and service our client's pets is simply magical. With VIP service for each pet, rest assured that we are working carefully, diligently, and daily. Happy National Veterinary Technician’s Week!!! Everyday and sometimes on weekends and at night your pets are cared for by the most caring veterinary technicians and nurses and this week (month, year, decade, century) we are recognizing their fortitude! We may be ready to go home for the night, but Larry will go back a time or two just to be sure all of our boarders are comfortable. Legacy may find an abandoned animal and keep it or help find it a great home. After surgeries,... they are the technicians who constantly observe our post-op patients, they help with emergencies, treatments, while also performing baths, labs, x-rays and so much more! Yes it is Larry and Legacy, the technicians who help treat your pets, help keep them clean, check on them, feed them, walk them, even offer snuggles! Their jobs are endless-as is there dedication! Weekly (sometimes daily) Dr. Bryant buys lunch, stocks the break room with their favorite foods, or fills up their gas tank and more, as a way to thank them. This week we wanted to publicly acknowledge our dedicated technicians and thank them for everything they do! They are the home away from home for your pets and today and every day we thank them, we appreciate them, we truly love them! Thank your veterinary technician and veterinary nurse today! Legacy and Larry this one is for you! This pandemic has posed its challenges, but you both have gone above and beyond! We see you, we thank you, we love you, and we appreciate you! #NationalVeterinaryTechniciansWeek #VetTech #VeterinaryTechnicians GreenbriarAnimalHospital #DrLindaBryant #DrBryant #Veterinarian #Veteran #Vet #Vets See more

Hello cat friends! We love our kitten buddies just as much as our puppy buddies. That noted, we must keep them safe too! As we enter the holidays remember the playful cat mind and keep tinsel, holiday lighting , and even ornaments out of their reach. This article deals more with foods that can be harmful so check it out as well. Stay safe everyone.

Featured here you will see Dr. Bryant and Dr. Bryant, yes there are two . Both graduated from Tuskegee’s School of Veterinary Medicine in the 1970’s and completed service in the #UnitedStatesArmy as #ArmyCaptains. The pair later opened Greenbriar Animal Hospital and Pet Magic Pet Store. Time flies indeed. Be sure to stop and enjoy those memory-making moments along the way. #DrLindaBryant #DrCharronBryant #GreenbriarAnimalHospital #BlackVeterinarians #TuskegeeSchoolofVeterinaryMedicine #TuskegeeVetSchool #DrBryant #BlackOwnedBusinesses #FemaleDoctors #doctors #MaleDoctors #Influencer #History #ATL #AtlantaVeterans #Veterans
