Yesterday Bright Eyes did have twin calves; however, neither of the baby calves survived. My husband was at work and I was out of town when they were born, so we are not sure what happened. We should be back up to full milk production in 2-3 weeks.

We have had several inquiries recently about milk. Right now, we are in very short supply; however, we should have an abundance of milk towards the end of November as Bright Eyes is due to have her calf any day now. We will try to keep everyone updated, sorry for the delay!

I wanted to take a minute (a little late) to apologize to anyone that ordered milk this week from Dirt Road Organics.. I had surgery on Monday and we had a mix up during pick up, but we hope to have everything straightened out this week. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ginger had a baby boy yesterday! Mama and baby are doing well, as long as he stays with his mama and not Bright Eyes! He drank some of Bright Eyes' milk this morning...

Ginger is due to have her calf any day now (her actual due date was yesterday), she's making Bright Eyes and the other calf a bit anxious. I am not so sure how anxious I am to be milking two cows again, but such is life here at G G Farms! & that means more milk available for Dirt Road Organics!
