Georgia Southern University Planetarium 11.12.2020

Last night tickets for "Experience the Aurora" sold out in a record time of around 10 minutes! We have seen everyone's posts and emails, and understand there is still a large demand for this show. We will be replaying the show for April's Public Evening on April 4th. We will begin working to set up the new tickets for April, and they will be available starting on April 1st at 7 pm. There are still accounts trying to sell tickets on our event page and unfortunately Facebook will not let us remove or hide them. Tickets are free. Please do not listen to these scalpers as they do not have real tickets for the shows.

Experience the Aurora March 7th @ 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 pm Free Tickets (Available on March 4th at 7 pm) https://www.eventbrite.com/e/georgia-southern-planetarium-p... All Ages Over seven months in the Arctic Circle, our crews captured timelapse images of the Aurora Borealis with high resolution digital SLR cameras outfitted with fisheye lenses. The results are spectacular. For the first time the aurora has been captured as it was meant to be experienced, as a display that covers the entire sky. This immersive show shares the science behind the aurora and tells the story of our quest to find and photograph the aurora for wraparound display in fulldome theaters.

Considered by many critics to be the album that brought the commercial breakthrough to Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon offers a mixture of psychedelic, rock and jazz sounds. Its sonic backdrops and atmospheric soundscapes combined with a unique assortment of sound effects yield an emotional resonance.
