It's official: Taylor Guitars is now 100% employee-owned! Co-founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, along with master builder and ownership partner Andy Powers, a...nnounced the ownership transition to employees on January 11. This is great news because: 1) neither Bob nor Kurt are retiring; 2) Andy Powers is committed to a lifetime of innovative guitar design for Taylor; 3) Taylor employees are more empowered than ever to produce amazing guitars; and 4) Players around the world can count on Taylor to continue to craft the most player-friendly guitars for generations to come. Here are three ways you can stay inspired to reach your songwriting goals and dreams in 2021. #1 Take five for your songwriting each day . Even five minutes each day to jot down a few lyric ideas or noodle around with your guitar or keyboard can get the creative juices going all day long. If you don't play an instrument, no problem! Just hum a few melodic ideas to yourself and record them in your cell phone. You'll be surprised what five minutes can do! #2 Practice thinking l...ike a pro. You're already a songwriter, right? Now the challenge is to learn to think like one. Pro songwriters are always scoping for great ideas and using them to write great songs. Inspire yourself to be very attentive to song ideas that pop up in sermons, the Word, prayer times, and journaling to capture better ideas. It's an easy way to improve your songwriting. Just pay more attention to the great ideas flying past you everywhere every day! #3 Add more skills to boost effective songwriting. Becoming a better musician and communicator will enhance your songwriting. Investing in yourself really means you're investing in your potential audience, the end users of your songs. Make 2021 the year you invest more in yourself, more in your calling, and more in the people out there starving for the hope you have to share. People will love your songs if you are bringing hope and peace to them in powerful ways that they can easily grasp and find what they need through your songs.

I was in two minds whether to post a video or not, I wasn't sure if it would be appropriate or not but as Eddie said "It's the only thing there is, music, man. Gotta keep playing" - so here goes. Thank you for the lifelong inspiration Eddie
