Gwinnett County Government Recorders Court 05.05.2021

Gwinnett County Recorder's Court is open normal business hours. If you have a case in Recorder's Court you are expected to pay the fine or to be in court on your court date. If you fail to appear a bench warrant may be issued and your license may be suspended. The following safety measures have been put in place to ensure that we provide a safe environment in keeping with the CDC guidelines. Dedicated entry and exit doorways, queue lines and floor markings to encourage 6-foot... distancing. All areas will be sanitized after each court session Hand sanitizing stations have been placed in several places around the courthouse. Writing pens are sanitized after each use. Glass barriers have been installed at the payment windows. Face masks are encouraged to be used while inside the courthouse. If you or a family member have recently been exposed to COVID-19 or you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the courthouse. Gwinnett County Government Recorders Court 15.04.2021

Gwinnett County Recorder’s Court has reopened as of June 15, 2020. Every effort has been made to reduce the number of people that will be in the building at the same time. The following safety measures have been put in place to ensure that we provide a safe environment in keeping with the CDC guidelines. Dedicated entry and exit doorways, queue lines and floor markings to encourage 6-foot distancing. All areas will be sanitized after each court session... Traditionally we have had two arraignment calendars each day, but we have expanded that to four arraignment calendars to reduce number of people in the courthouse. If you or a family member have recently been exposed to COVID-19 or you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the courthouse. Recorder’s Court Traffic Citations Recorder’s Court is CLOSED with the exception of essential services such as in custody jail cases and probation revocations. All court hearings (Arraignments, Pleas, Trials) scheduled from March 16 through June 15th will be reset. If your court date fell within this time period, a bench warrant or a failure to appear WILL NOT be issued for you. This includes court dates to show proof of payments, proof of class attendance and proof of com...munity service hours. You will receive notice through the mail of your new court date.
