AsalaamAlaikum, Suwanee Masjid is planning to host Taraweeh prayers starting tonight Monday Isha Salat 9:40 for brothers and sisters InshAllah. In order to adhere to safety precautions, no children’s under the age of 15 to attend. Please cooperate with volunteers... Masjid Safety Notes: - Strict social distancing and all other Masjid safety protocols will be enforced - Wudu should be made from home - Restrooms will be closed, unless of urgent emergency - Prayer rugs should be brought from home for use during Salah - Face masks and Socks are required at all times inside of the Masjid premises - The elderly and medically vulnerable are encouraged to stay home - If you are exhibiting any symptoms or medical concerns, please stay home. Due to COVID-19 guidelines Taraweeh prayers will have limited space nightly, and the space will go on first come first serve basis. Once the Masjid is full, we will close the doors and no additional person will be allowed. No parking should happen at the motels and restaurant surrounding the Masjid JazakumAllahu Khairan.

Meet sister Maryam Mohammed, the first hijab-wearing Muslim Police Officer sworn in Georgia on October 9, 2020. Sister Maryam overcame an unstable childhood, found Islam, and completed her high school education as an adult. The encouragement of her husband and the pursuit of her childhood dream led her to earn a dual Associate's Degree in Crime Scene Investigation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Leadership. During her studies, she also attended the National Forensic Academy. Sister Maryam is an inspiration for many other girls. We thank her for breaking the barriers and taking a career to serve and protect other. We wish her great success in her future!

Our Digitial Sunday School Class Registration is open again for a short time. We have amazing dedicated teachers who make class fun and interactive for students wanting to learn our Deen. Class space is limited and registration will close again when classes are full!
