Hi Everyone! Who is ready (or not) for the Holiday season? Have big plans of travel or staying cozy in Savannah? As we continue into the New Year, I wanted to ask everyone a question: What kind of information/updates/stats would be of interest for you to have readily accessible on this page? For instance, I know a lot of neighbors would like a monthly housing report for their home's value. Other neighbors would like to see a calendar of events for the Downtown area. Some wou...ld like a list of reputable vendors like roofers, plumbers, babysitters, etc., while others would just like to know what day of the week it is. HAHA! So, give me your ideas and needs for information and as we move into the New Year, I'll make a dedicated space on this page for that. No more scrolling endlessly through pages of Facebook posts. Hey neighbors! Wanted to let ya'll know that I had Homelogic Handyman Solutions come out and build one of these privacy containers for me so I could hide the gas meter and a mini-split ac. Hated the way it made the side of my home look! They came out, I told them what I wanted, and a few hours later, VOILA! It was finished! I love the look of it! I chose not to have the top open, but it could easily be a box that opens on the top for pool toys, sports equipment, yard tools, etc. I paid $425 for this custom built container and couldn't be more pleased! COMMUNITY GARDEN NEEDS HELP!! Dear Great Wonderful Volunteer -type people-- some who may have trucks or be very strong--- MMCG (Midtown Miracle Community Gard...en) has an immediate need --- we need to move a fence that is being donated and dig a trench ASAP. We are running out of time to find a small team to help us get this done or we might lose the donation. Our need: A truck and a few strong hands to move sections of fence being donated from Southbridge to the garden A trench and carpentry team so we can lay the waterline for our new system and put up the fence. Set up your own work day with Steve Taylor our landscaper 912-655-0888. Please help us find our work angels soon! These can be the same people-- we are not picky! We can offer our thanks, a tax letter, service hours or maybe some snacks!
