Carol’s mom Margaret Greenway Rest with our Lord

Heaven gained an Angel today. Carol and Lynn’s mom, Margaret Mathews Greenway went to be with our Lord this afternoon, May 8,2020. Margaret had been suffering from Alzheimer’s for the past six years. We are saddened by her passing but take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord, free of the confines of her earthly body and are reunited with her husband Jack and son Ronny. We will miss her many meals as she showed her family how much she loved us through many plates of f...ried chicken, mash potatoes, garden vegetables, biscuits, cakes and pies. Her favorite pastimes were reading, sewing, and working in her vegetable garden. Due to restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, a grave-side service is being planned for Monday afternoon, May 11, 2020 (exact time to be determined tomorrow, May 9,2020) at Winder/Barrow Memorial Gardens.
