Happy Days Travel Club

On March 5, 2020, the Happy Days Travel Club visited the Walker Hill Museum, in Griffin, GA, ate lunch at the Dundee Cafe, and toured the Heritage Park Veterans Museum in McDonough, GA. Deborah Johnson was the trip leader for this wonderful day and we thank her! (Thanks also to our club president and photographer, Jeff Baker).

Life is not a cabaret; it's a carousel. What fun! At the March 2020 Day Trip to the Walker Hill Museum in Griffin, GA, club members climbed aboard the Merry-Go-Round. It brought back many happy memories.

During the Happy Days Travel Club March 2020 Day Trip, at the Heritage Park Veterans Museum, Tim Dukes was honored for his military service to our country. Club members cheered for him; all of us thank him for his service.

At the Walker Hill Museum, in Griffin, GA, on March 5, 2020, members of the Happy Days Travel Club enjoyed hearing some music. First, Jan Baker played the organ, then, a player piano and player pipe organ kept everyone entertained.

Next Happy Days Travel Club Meeting: Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 1:00 pm, at the Lamar County Active Life Senior Center, 106 Veterans Dr, Barnesville. We'd love to see you there! We'll be planning for the day trips during the second half of 2020 and the agency trips for 2021. We'll also talk about plans for the Spring Banquet. You can still sign up for the Niagara Falls trip (May 31-June 6) and the Iceland trip (October 12-18).... After the meeting, you can sign up for the April 2nd day trip to Berry College in Rome, GA. Cost is $15 per member (add $6 for non-members).
