In an effort to speed up the roping, we have made a few changes that will keep things rolling. Books will open at 8 am and for the #12 we will be closing the bo...oks at 9:30 am so we can have the roping posted and start roping at 10 am. Also, the books for the #9 will be closed at the beginning of the last rotation in the #12. For extra runs, we will have the team highlighted instead of just the name so you know which partners will be your extras. Please get there early enough to get your entries in! See more

1ST NORTH GEORGIA CLUB TEAM ROPING APRIL 2ND HARD ROCK ARENA 2437 Rock Road Mt. Airy, GA 30563... Books open at 8:30 am Rope at 10 am This is the 1st of 8 ropings that the North Georgia Roping Club will be having this year. There will be a roping on the first saturday of every month beginning in April and ending in November. We will be having year end awards for the high point headers and heelers of each roping to 3rd place. Awards for the year end will be based on participation throughout the year. You must attend 4 out of the 8 ropings to qualify for year end awards, which will be given at the last roping in November. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st place -10 2nd place - 9 3rd place - 8 4th place - 7 down to 10th place getting 1pt. *Members will get 1pt for attending roping MEMBERSHIPS: Good for 2016 $50/man $75/family ROPINGS: #12 w/ #9 Handicap - Pick 1/Draw 1 for $60/man. - 4 head Enter 4X - for 8 runs total 1.5 secs off for team number down to a #9 team (4.5 secs max to #9 team) #9 - Capped at a 5E - Pick 1/Draw 1 for $60/man. - 4 head Enter 4X - for 8 runs total #3 and under Round Robin - 3 head - $100/man *Extra runs: Must pay before you run with that partner If not paid for then entitled to 1/2 the money and 0 pts *Re-runs: Only if clean barrier and steer sets up *If # is changed during the year; points earned stay in that roping Looking forward to a great roping, and hope to see y'all there!
