While we may be on lockdown in Kigali, the work goes on. We are continuing to work with Tubasange in Mobilization and Placement of future missionaries. We are currently in the process of getting a future missionary from East Africa his passport. Also we love to partner with Green Neighbor Uganda. Well on our way to help repair 60 boreholes (water wells) in 2021 that will provide clean water to thousands in the villages of Central Uganda. Average cost to repair one boreh...ole is $150. Jennifer is continuing to do a fantastic job as a missionary educator at KICS teaching her Kindergarten pupils. Partnering with our friend Ivan Mbaraga to help feed 100 families in the Kangondo communities in Kigali. Please let us know if you would like more information on these or any of our other projects going on in East Africa with Willing To Go.

Hello Friends. It has been a while since we have given a covid update. That is because everyrhing has been going well for the most part. The government of Rwanda has done a great job keeping cases and deaths down. This is good for a country with a third world health system. Like many places, cases have begun to go up. Deaths have gone up. People have not been as diligent to follow guidelines. Since December cases have gone up such that the hospitals in the country ar...e already above capacity. Some would look at our numbers and not be alarmed, but when the country is out of hospital beds, there is a problem. Because of this, the city and province where we live have been put under a very strict lockdown. Only reason we can leave our house is to get groceries, go to the bank, or to go to a medical appointment. We must first ask for a movement clearence from the national Police which may or may not be granted before we are allowed to leave. Jennifer and I are working from home and kids are in online learning mode again. We expect this could last for about 2 months. While we do not like being locked down with limited ways to leave our house, we are glad that the government is trying it's best to keep the entire healthcare system from crumbling. We are blessed to live in a country where the government cares for its citizens and residents. Please pray for the country of Rwanda as we go through this trying time. Pray for our healthcare system and leaders as they do what they can to help the sick in Rwanda. Pray for the millions of students that unlike ours, are not able to attend school online and have basically been out of school for the last 10 months. Pray for us as we continue to find ways to serve in this community remotely. Thanks for keeping up with us. We know where ever you are in the world, you are dealing with covid and restrictions as well. Please know we are praying for you. Below is our most recent daily report from the ministry of health. Again, many in other countries would love these numbers, but with the situation of lack of hospital beds, this is a serious situation. We praise God that he is the Great Physician and He is greater than this virus. While the government and people can do what they can do, we know it is God that will heal this land.

Our two wonderful Willing To Go Children's Ministers/Soccer Coaches (Raphael and Danatien) completed the Kairos Course recently. They started in person and had to move online due to Covid-19 precautions. These two young men do a great job leading devotions and activities for children in destitute situations. So glad to call these guys friends.

December 1, 2014. The last day of my "real job" and out first day as full time missionaries. It has been an amazing 6 years and we look forward to many more. We started out in the US traveling to various places around the world and ended up in Rwanda, East Africa. Thank you to all of you who keep up with the work God has led us to do. Thank you to our friends and family who have encouraged us every step of the way. Thank you to those who have supported us generously thr...ough prayer and through your financial support. We could not do this with out all of you. This week I am studying the conversion of Saul (later known as Paul) in Acts 9:1-31. God had great plans for Saul, but God chose to use Ananias to go to Saul in Damascas and pray for him. Throughout the Bible, God uses mere men and women to usher in his plans. While God could use angels or even just snap His fingers, He chooses to use people. We are so blessed that God has used each of you in our lives and in helping establish His ministry in our lives.
