Hartwell Animal Hospital 26.04.2021

Please join us Saturday March 27 as we celebrate our mentor Dr. Robert Mauldin's birthday and the over 5,000 pets rescued since the formation of the Hart County... Humane Society. Dr. Mauldin rescued countless animals while practicing veterinary medicine long before there was an animal shelter, animal control or animal rescues. We are honored to be apart of Dr. Mauldin's mission to rescue the dogs and cats from our community. Our celebration starts at the Bellcraft parking lot 786 Vickery St. with a drive by parade of decorated vehicles and continues to the Hart County Humane Society 1364 Reed Creek Hwy.. Those coming to the open house can turn into our driveway, those who aren't can turn around at the parking lot at Racks or continue down Reed Creek Hwy.. We hope to see you there. Donations in honor of Dr. Mauldin and his lifetime of rescue can be made online at hart humane.org or by mail at Hart County Humane Society P.O. Box 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643. Please help us help the animals in our community. See more

Due to a recent increase in the number of appointments being missed without advance notice, we have unfortunately been forced to implement a cancellation fee policy. Our appointment slots for exams and surgeries are very limited, and we ask that you please inform us in advance if you are unable to make your appointment date so that we can use that time to treat other patients in need.

Operational update as of 7/12/2020 -All non-emergency visits are by appointment only. -We are still limiting the number of clients and patients allowed in the building.... -You may be asked to wait in your car until we have a room available for your appointment. -Non-essential services such as baths and nail trims are a low priority and are still suspended until further notice. All available appointment times are being used for surgeries, vaccines, and sick pets. -If you are NOT comfortable entering the building, we can provide curbside service at your request. Masks are encouraged but not required for entry, although we may refuse entry to anyone exhibiting certain symptoms or behavior. -If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please call us directly. Our front desk staff does not use Facebook as a direct communication method with clients. -We are still dealing with a high volume of calls and appointment requests due to COVID-19, but we hope that things can begin to normalize once all the other clinics in the surrounding areas return to full capacity. Thank you for your patience and understanding! -Hartwell Animal Hospital staff

We at Hartwell Animal Hospital are making some adjustments to our operating procedures in order to comply with best-practice guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak: - Suspension of all non-essential services until further notice. This includes nail trims, baths, and shavedowns. - Telemedicine procedure: Curbside drop-off and pickup for all patients. Only patient and staff are allowed inside the clinic. The technician and doctor will consult with clients over the phone during... the exam. - Food, prescription medication, and other items can be purchased for curbside pickup. Please call ahead to ensure timely service. - Limited appointment availability and no walk-in exams. All visits must be booked in advance to prevent extra emergency service charges. All existing appointments will still be honored. Although our procedures are changing during these uncertain times, we have no intentions of closing. We still plan to be here Monday through Saturday and we are still dedicated to serving our clients and patients.
