This has been a much different Summer Camp than our kids are used to. We were not able to go on any field trips, so we had to be a bit more creative. Our teachers did an awesome job with providing fun, engaging activities for the children, considering. Thank you, Mr. Johnathan, for making this awesome video. It brought tears to our eyes watching it. The kids miss you and wish you well during your college semester(s). Tonight, our board met and decided we will open next Wednesday, May 13, and will continue to close at 5pm to deep clean. Our teachers will use the next few days to make preparations and train on the new safety protocols that are being put into place. Centers are still under executive orders and cannot have more than 10 teachers and children in one room at a time. With that said, we are implementing the following: - For now, we will not be providing care for the school-age... children. - We are requiring that only families that are mandated to work/return to work will be able to receive care. - Because we can only have 9 children in each classroom (less in the infant and toddler classrooms), families will need to sign up to be put on a list. The first families to email and register for care ([email protected]) will be considered for immediate care. We understand this is not an ideal situation, but these are unprecedented times and we aim to make the decisions necessary to provide the safest care possible. Stay safe.
