#FunFactFriday A little bit about me, because I don’t think I have ever done one. First and foremost, Hi! I’m LeeAnn. I was born and raised in a little town just 1.5 hours South of Atlanta, called Milledgeville, Georgia. Growing up I have always enjoyed being an Athlete. As a little girl, I dabbled into gymnastics, ballet, tap, and jazz. As I got a little older I gave those up, and started playing softball (that lasted 2 years); then I became a cheerleader for the 4 years... that I was in High school. I’m a graduate of Baldwin High, where I started taking cosmetology classes, and knew that that’s what I wanted to do with my life. My Fraternal Grandmother was always my biggest Fan growing up. I used to always play with her hair and make up, and no matter how bad it may have looked, she always thought it was beautiful. In 2005 I graduated from CGTC and received my State license that same year from the Board Of Cosmetology. My first year since I had graduated I also gave birth to my first son- Davin; my second one came in 2015- Hendlee. I have been a Cosmetologist now going on 16 years, and have fallen in love with the Industry a million times more, while also falling in love with being an Athlete again. Four years ago I picked up doing Spartan races, Trail races, and several other OCRs; while also meeting the love of my life @iamaspartanpodcast . It’s a neat little industry that I get to be apart of, because I get to share my love for sports to Clients-who are interested, and I also get to learn so much more about them. The biggest blessing of my job is learning about people, listening to their challenges; and letting them know fuck what other people think; this is YOUR life . I believe that humanity can be good; if we just have empathy for one another, and quit fucking judging each other based off differences, and let it join us! 2020 brought a lot of challenges to us, but it brought so much joy, when I was asked to join a good friend and fellow stylist; in opening her Salon. Hence that’s where #HeadBangersSalon was birthed. 2020 was a nut kicker, but it also brought hope. So, let’s wear HOPE with pride!

We have some updates Dear Head Bangers at Identity Salon and Suites community, First, I want to thank everyone for their continued support, encouragement, and trust through these trying times. I'm sending this email out to ensure everyone that "Head Bangers Salon", "Identity Salon and Suites", and "Salon Phoenix" are doing everything we can to make sure that our spaces are diligently cleaned, sanitized, and ready for you. Please remember that you MUST have a mask on when ente...ring into the Salon(s). I have had Family members directly effected by this terrible virus, and while I do understand that they can get the virus from anywhere, I choose to make sure that I am doing everything I can to not spread it. If you have been around anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been around anyone waiting on a test result for COVID-19, please, for the love of macaroni and cheese, reschedule your appointment. I am looking forward to what 2021 will bring us. So, burn some sage, send positive vibes into the Universe, sing a happy song, pray, whatever the choice may be, that this year will be better than last, and everyone remains healthy!
