Yesterday wasn't just election day, it was national sandwich day. So we tied the two together and voted on an official Heartis Suwanee sandwich. The candidates were a fried chicken club versus a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Our residents decided and the pulled pork sandwich came out on top. Our marketing team then had a few of our community partners stop by and select a sandwich as well. We are officially the home of the Suwanee Senior Living Georgia Pulled Pork Sandwich. #nationalsandwichday

This year Heartis Senior Living Suwanee is partnering with Jambos Donates to bring some holiday cheer to some of the children living in foster care. We are a donation drop-off location for new pajamas with the tags still attached for kids of all ages. Jambos is really in need of pajamas for middle and high school aged kids. You can drop by Heartis Suwanee and place your donation in the boxes located in the lobby foyer of our community. We will be collecting until November 30th. A very special thank you to Danielle Diaz, a friend of one of our resident families for donating a baby grand piano to our community. It is a beautiful addition to the library in Assisted Living. Join us tomorrow at the Infinite Energy Center for the Gwinnett County drive-thru job fair. Heartis Senior Living Suwanee will have a booth setup where you can apply for our current job openings. We have dietary aides, servers, CNAs, and certified medication technicians. Bring your resumes and references with you. Be sure to bring a friend.

Mrs. Carol loves word games and puzzles. Here she is adding a few more words to the weekly Word in Word board. Try and beat our number of words for "extraordinary ". We love exercising our minds at Heartis Suwanee.

The weather in Georgia is so unpredictable, but a delicious cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows is perfect for any day. Just ask Lynn. She loves this delicious sweet treat.

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We had a wonderful balloon release ceremony earlier this week. Today we honor two survivors, Teddi a resident here at Heartis Suwanee and Peggy one of our evening concierge. We celebrate their fight and their courage. #breastcancerawareness

In the midst of these unprecedented times, we are striving to make our residents' days special. Last night we had Dining with the Stars. Our residents dressed for dinner and walked the red carpet to enjoy their meal in the dining room. As the walked the carpet they saw their names on our Heartis Suwanee Walk of Fame. It was a fun evening for everyone. #frontierculture #heartissuwanee

We stepped outside today in the beautiful fall weather for a Breast Cancer Awareness Ceremony. We honored the memory of those we have lost, and celebrated our survivors. There was a poetry reading, and we spoke the names aloud. We then ended with a balloon release and prayer. These special moments mean so much. #breastcancerawareness

We concluded our raffle fundraiser for the Walk to End Alzheimer's. It was a lot of fun and helps in the fight to find a cure for Alzheimer's. A few residents won some of the great prizes. Mrs. Jeanne won twice, a Visa gift card and a wonderful griddle that she is giving to her grandson. Ms. Cathy won the Amazon gift card, and Ms. Gwen won the Gwinnett Church gift basket. #walktoendalzheimers

Fit2Fly LLC joined us once again at the community. They were one of the highlights of our drive-thru Fall Festival. They even sponsored a raffle prize of free lessons for anyone brave enough to try aerials. The prize was won by a granddaughter of one of our residents. #fallfestival
