I want to take a moment and talk about the importance of today. Whether it be with me or someone else, small businesses need your support. This year has been difficult for everyone, however, small business owners have struggled so much that more than half of them have had to close their doors. I was one of them this year. Packing up all my baking stuff and getting a full-time job and two part time jobs, just to get through the pandemic, was one of the hardest obstacles I have... faced as a small business owner. I worked 70+ hours for weeks on end to push myself to re-open my business. The photo below was taken the other day at 6am. I didn’t finish working that day until 8pm. This is my average work day and I am going to keep that momentum going to stay open. It has been incredibly hard but I know it’s worth every effort I give. Every penny that you spend with a small business owner or entrepreneur means the world to us. Every penny is helping us to accomplish our dreams. Every penny is getting us closer and closer to our goals. Every penny helps. Instead of spending hundreds at a huge corporation this year, please, consider buying from a small business owner. Consider buying from someone who works day in and day out to accomplish their goals. Shop small. It’s extremely important that you do. I didn’t come up with the combination of chocolate and peppermint, I just reinvented it. This delicious cookie cake is chocolate with peppermint extract and chucks of peppermint and white chocolate throughout. It is topped with a peppermint buttercream icing, candy canes, home made peppermint bark, and Ghirardelli Chocolate Company white chocolate peppermint squares! Re-introduction time! I have gained an incredible support team and it is just continuing to grow so I wanted to reintroduce myself to you all that may not know me! My name is Heaven Waits.
