Warmer weather is here. And after an uncertain spring, we finally have an update. Cool River’s 30th season will begin on Saturday, May 23, 2020. We’ll be open e...veryday from 9am 5pm. Our aerial adventure courses will also re-open May 23rd, available by booking only. Due to the ongoing risk of COVID-19, there will be significant differences if you visit us this season. Please read about the changes on our websites before visiting. We look forward to seeing you in the sun and in masks this summer. *****KNOW BEFORE YOU GO***** There will be LIMITED SPACE ON OUR TUBING SHUTTLES. There may be very long waits for them due to the necessity of social distancing. If you decide to ride in our shuttles, only the driver of your vehicle will be allowed to board the bus - either by parking at our Headwaters Outpost or by dropping off your party at Headwaters before parking at Chattahoochee Outpost and busing up to join them. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SELF-TRANSPORT Your safest and quickest options for transport are self-transport: * If planning to do the long ride, bring two vehicles. * If planning to do the short ride, walk to the river entrance after buying tickets at Chattahoochee Outpost or Mainstreet Booth. In either case, you will be walking about 1.2 miles (22 minutes) total to the river and your car. Cleanliness, Sanitation, and Physical Distancing In these circumstances, it is impossible to offer guarantees. We will be trying our best. * We’ve increased cleaning and disinfection in high-traffic areas. * We’ve added hand-sanitizers in key areas. Guests are highly encouraged to use these, as well as wear a mask when interacting with staff. * Directional signage has been installed to help you move throughout the facility at a distance. Tape will help promote proper physical distancing when in line. PLEASE follow all posted instructions while visiting and respect 6ft distance between you and those not in your party. * Physical barriers have been added at counters where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. * The addresses to our Chattahoochee and Headwaters Outposts, as well as driving directions, may be found on our website homepage.
