Attention: The City of Newnan Public Works Department will be moving in to debris removal phase today. This means large trucks and loaders will be throughout t...he affected areas along with utility trucks. Please expect road closures frequently and spread out all over Newnan. We can not predict what times or what roads will be affected because each crew is independent and in a look for work mode. If they can get in, the will work and we will close the roads.

SOLID WASTE UPDATE: The city’s solid waste contractor, GFL (formerly Waste Industries has placed dumpsters at the following locations for storm affected area re...sidents to place household garbage: First Avenue Park (across the street) Armory Road and LaGrange Street Howard Warner Community Center This service is being made available while routine service is disrupted.

Thank you so much for the outpouring of support the past 4 days with donations and the willingness to volunteer. As of now, we are good with volunteers for the ...rest of this week. Over the next few weeks/months the need for volunteers will be great and we will continue to update you here as the needs arise. We will still be accepting food donations from 12-3pm daily this week. Our food needs are: Pop top ready to eat meals (soup/ravioli/spaghetti o’s, etc), granola bars, individual fruit cups, peanut butter (small 16 oz jars), oatmeal packets, & ramen. Our hearts go out to our friends and neighbors in the city of Newnan and all of Coweta County whose lives have been turned upside down by last week’s storms. We could not be more proud of the actions of our Heritage team members who rose to the occasion and sought ways to help where they could. We are able to confirm that this afternoon, power was restored to our offices and the systems (including the phones) are back online. We are very grateful for the hard work from Georgia Power in restoring power so quickly, and we will resume our regular business hours for all phone lines at 9:00am tomorrow, 10/30/2020. Please continue to use the online Vantaca homeowner portal as well if you are able to do so!

Like many here in metro Atlanta this morning, our offices are currently without power and our phone lines are down. We are in contact with Georgia Power as they work to get us and thousands of other Georgians back online ASAP. We are grateful for Georgia Power's hard work and hope to be back online soon. We will provide updates throughout the day on Facebook & Twitter as they are available.
