Herrin Pediatric Dentistry continues to work toward a thoughtful and safe reopening. In this process, we think about what would be safe and best for our own family then implement it in the office. One thing we have learned from this process that is bigger than Covid-19, is our love for one another and a mission to keep our patients and families safe. We are thinking about all the health care workers in the front lines caring for the sick. Thank you for your service and selflessness. We are praying for your safety each day. On Friday, Dr. Brent dropped off these masks and gloves to the Wellstar Supply Distribution Center and they will be given to medical staff on the frontlines of this epidemic. We are missing our patients but are grateful the supplies can be used to help protect those in need. Please continue to stay safe and stay at home and we’ll take care of your teeth as soon as all this is over!

COVID-19 update: We are missing our patients and staff but remain committed to safety during this COVID-19 outbreak. We are seeing dental emergencies on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you need us. We need your help! New legislation was signed yesterday to help small businesses during the outbreak but excluded any assistance for dental offices. Dental offices employee many people and most are closed down so many, many people are out of a job just in the dental indu...stry alone. In response to the uncharted territory of COVID-19 and commitment to protect our patients, employees, and community at large, Herrin Pediatric Dentistry will be closed the next 2 weeks. We will reassess at the end of this time period and hope to reopen then. We are doing spirit week now through Halloween! We've had a country and sports theme so far. We are having so much fun! If you have an appointment now through Halloween, please feel free to dress up with your Halloween costume! We would love to see all the cute ideas you all have!

Dr. Herrin spent Saturday learning about how to use the most updated materials and techniques for esthetic restorations on baby teeth. He is excited to learn new and updated methods to make his patients’ teeth look natural as well as durable and long-lasting.
