It has been such a great season on Thursday Night Kickoff on FOX 5 Atlanta and it has been so great connecting with the families of our former HIGH5SPORTS stars... who are now in the NFL. I wrapped up this season by connecting with Darren Waller's parents. Dorian and Charlena have been by their son through his ups and downs and they aren't afraid to talk about it all. East Coweta Football's Jayden Bolton is the rushing leader in 7A (812 yds). Collins Hill High School's Sam Horn is the passing leader in 7A (1,269 yds), and Travis Hunter is the state's leading receiver (617 yds). "Something's got to give, but it's gonna be a great ballgame," head coach John Small says.

The Cross Keys High School Indians have been playing football since 1958, but the Dekalb County school has only four winning seasons in that span, and head coach John Bowen said there’s a stigma attached to his Indians football team. But now, in his second stint coaching Cross Keys, Bowen said this year’s team is different.
