Understanding Ramnavmi. Day - 1

Hindu Center Of Atlanta 07.11.2020

(Forwarded as received; courtesy - whatsapp) Summary from Navaratri To move up consciousness from Muladhar into Sahasrar day by day and in process release all psychic impressions and reach PUREST SELF state !!!... Common mindset and act around these times in people.... Idol worship.... procedures.... how to do worship.... rituals.... how to fast but still eat... something that fits to self-made protocol.... you can eat this and not that... you can wear this and not that and so engrossed in all these so called rituals vary as well in each houses.... that true essence is lost and forgotten for lack of clarity from right source... going out to various places where it’s celebrated in further larger IDOL form and more elaborate execution displaying dress / food / entertainment / shopping / gossip / comparison of one idol to another and deciding which one is best... Pay attention... it’s all external facing.... outside you !!! Thinking there was real demon and real fight... and get into every details of the fight between Goddess and Devil.... and debate... Not realizing that it’s a powerful story told by higher consciousness to lower consciousness (king and Vaisya who lost everything that possess...) ....to show them suffering in attachments and unwanted undesired emotions.... Good and Bad is always there in nature... exists always in dormant form and when given enough water fertilizer... it comes up... grows... and then it appears as problem to most... Meditation is that powerful path to refocus on ignored inner self !!! There is no other alternate out there that can bring focus on self and enable to that depth... One need true Guru Who already merged with infinite as the one who took the path and reached can show you the path... each human has to choose its path and each one is different with different experiences..... Start with physical Detox over Kriyas exercises... (somewhere unknown in modern world JIM)... and detox with breadth ... some aspects is also unknown to mass media form of mass yoga teachings as yoga understanding remains poor for lack of access to source... ) It’s all presented to modern society in acceptable form based on ongoing lifestyle... and limits to some postures... and basic stuff over 30 days programs... After such physical detox process ... then it gets into emotional detox and other layers of body detox involving release of psychic impressions... sanchita karma... and that actual release.... opening up knots within you... one by one as consciousness moves up with grace of Guru !!! Remain inner focused and find good balance between utilizing modern means to your inner journey to ease rather get stuck with modern means !!! It’s not about one winner and one loser like Ram and Raawan... It’s about.... YOU WINNING over you !!!

Vijya Dasham Festivals in the Vedic (Hindu) culture are all multi-faceted, with (i) worldly, (ii) ritualized and (iii) spiritual aspects. It is customary for people to thoroughly clean houses, business and working areas, as well as places of worship. The bright decorations, new clothes, fragrance of the vapors from havan-yajna-pooja, the colors and flavors of special dishes and sweets as well as the moments of rejoicing add to the charm of social and cultural bonding.... As human beings we need to understand and live up to the spiritual aspects. Thus, festivals serve to brighten our physical-mental-emotional-spiritual frames, and give a boost to the positive vibrations of human personality, body-mind-spirit, as well as character-deeds-innate temperament (guna, karma, svabhva). These are what elevates us to humane social beings, else we shall only be social animals. Vijya Dasham celebrates the victory of good over evil. The real transformation occurs only when internal ignorance is destroyed. Vijya Dasham is also the victory of Knowledge over the ignorance. True knowledge (satya vidy, shuddha jnna) leads to truthfulness in deeds (shuddha karma) and devotion (shuddha bhakti-upsn). Let’s emulate Shri Rm and Arjun who came out victorious with a blend of jnana, karma, and bhakti. Else, we’ll suffer the fate of the exemplary warrior Abhimanyu who entered the chakravyuh, unaware of how to come out of it. Vijya Dasham is a call to rise above the I referring solely to the body, and adopt the holistic concept of body-mind-spirit. Sharadeeya Navratr (08) Durg: Decoding the image Understanding the artist concept of Durg, heavily armed and riding a lion to combat evil and protect good is the real celebration of the radiance of an empowered personality.... Durg symbolizes the soul (tm) within the human body; the lion represents the brave unwavering mental and emotional disposition; and the 10 arms each with a weapon correspond to tremendous force (Shakti) resulting from control over 10 senses: the five senses of perception and the five working senses or organs of actions, namely taste; smell; sight; hearing; touch; speech; grasping; locomotion; excretion; reproduction. The multitasking abilities are easily understood when illustrated as numerous hands only symbolic, not real. Charitra ki Pooja rather than Chitra ki Pooja The ten-armed icon of Durg is an illustrative reminder and a continuous source of inspiration to not only devotees, but to the world to stand for goodness and defeat evil and that starts by conquering the demon (mahishasura) of lust (kma), anger (krodha), greed (lobha), obsession (moha), individuality (ahankra), etc. Another word that we need to fully understand is devotee (bhakta): Just as a child is tagged a devotee or bhakta of parents and teachers by following their guidance and instructions, a devotee of God or Eeshvar bhakta is only a real one when he/she puts up the utmost physical and mental efforts to comply to the guidance and instructions of God towards realizing the prayers. Then and only then there will be the victory of good over evil. Appreciating the artist’s creative mind rendering an easy and comprehensive understanding of the spiritual undertones, we need to rise above rituals towards higher levels of spirituality with spiritual reality in all our actions. Then only the festive season would add brilliance to our personality and uplift the physical, mental-moral-spiritual, and social wellbeing of all.
