It's another great day at Habitat as we celebrate another successful homeowner. Habitat offers a hand up and not a hand out as homeowners complete 400 hours of sweat equity and pay a zero interest mortgage. Thanks to new homeowner Chimere Jones and Bridgette Cooper of the Cooper Law Firm for donating services.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Hank Aaron, whose accomplishments on the field were rivaled by his grace and leadership in equity, philanthropy and justice throughout his entire life. Our prayers are with his family and all who loved him.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness to hear of the sudden passing of Houston County Habitats' dear friend and long-time construction manager, Bob Carn...ot. He went home to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, October 2, 2020. We will deeply miss Bob's smile and the cheerful nature he brought to our Habitat family on the construction site, office, and the community at large.
