As we focus on reopening as quickly and safely as possible, we have an exciting announcement. In the spirit of #GivingTuesday, Gina and Chef Linton Hopkins announce the formation of Good Food Works, Inc, a non-profit foundation that strives to improve the quality of life for those in the community by supplying good food, food education, and resources that empower everyone to celebrate life and wholesome goodness. During the COVID-19 crisis, the Hopkins and Company team ...responded to the growing need for food assistance and is now producing and sharing more than 11,000 meals a week distributed through the following organizations: 1,800 meals a week distributed to restaurant workers through ATLFamilyMeal 2,100 meals a week distributed to doctors, nurses, and medical workers through Emory’s Feed the Frontlines Project 5,600 meals a week distributed to families with children, shut-ins, and other at-risk families in the Buford Highway Corridor through We Love BuHiand funded by the World Central Kitchen 1,400 meals a week to restaurant workers through the The LEE Initiative 600 meals a week provided to the Asheville community through Food Connection & MANNA FoodBank To learn more about Good Food Works and the work that we’re doing, visit https://linktr.ee/goodfoodworks See more
