Holy Spirit Episcopal Church

About Our Beautiful Church: The Church of the Holy Spirit was founded in 1957. The building is a Colonial-Gothic style design by the distinguished architect Edward Vason Jones. Many of its features were patterned after Brewton Parish Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, and the Zion Church in Talbotton, Georgia. It was dedicated on March 13, 1960. Traditional Rite 1 services are held every Sunday at 9am. Mrs. Carolyn Duskin is our very talented organist. We are small in number but great in heart. We would be so grateful if you would come join with us!

Due to most parishioners scheduled to be out of town, there will not be a service on 18 April, 2021. The Vestry meeting will be moved to the 25th of April.

We will return to weekly services in March!

No service due to covid-19 surge in our area.

Due to ongoing regional covid spikes, and in accordance with guidance from the Diocese, we will not hold in-person church services in February. This includes our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. While this is unfortunate, it is better to be safe! As soon as the outlook changes, we will let you know.
