Do you know I do test bakes?! If you have a specific recipe you want to try or have a hankering for something you’ve seen and want someone to make it for you, let’s talk about that. I’m finally able to share about this test Baked Alaska that I did for a client. I was so excited about trying it and so in love with how it turned out. Back in the earlier seasons of The Great British Baking Show, I first heard about this dessert and saw the basics behind it, but then went along ...my marry way. So when this friend came asking, Do you make Baked Alasaka’s? I at least knew what she meant, but had never made one. No, I have never made one. But if you would be interested in me testing it out for you, I’d love to talk through what that would look like! First time making Italian meringue, or any meringue for that matter. First time using ice cream in a recipe. First time sitting on the floor, watching something as it baked to make sure it was pulled out at exactly the right second. Yes, second!
