Hope Givers Spotlight It’s estimated that 7.7 million adults in the US have co-occuring mental and substance use disorders, yet only 9% of those receive both mental health care and substance use treatment. Barriers not only include cost of treatment but also simply access to care, among many others. Since 1992, Hope House has served over 1700 women across the state of Georgia with substance use and mental health challenges. Hope House's ultimate goal is to help our indi...viduals and families become self-sufficient as contributing members of society. Hope House, Inc. remains to be the only licensed and accredited residential substance misuse and mental health facility that serves women and children in Augusta-Richmond County. Thank you, Hope House, for investing in and shining a light for so many women and children across our state.
